Where is Camp Energy held?

Cherwell School

Located less than two miles from Oxford centre and close to the John Radcliffe, Nuffield and Churchill hospitals, Cherwell School is an ideal location for parents working in the city, local hospitals and surrounds.

The school’s facilities include: a fully equipped sports hall, astro turfs, sports fields, tennis course, a gym, and an art room.

Kingham Hill School

Set in 96 acres of beautiful Cotswold countryside and with outstanding facilities, Kingham Hill, is a perfect setting for our holiday camps.

The school’s facilities include: a fully equipped sports hall, top-of-the-range astro turfs, masses of outdoor space,  a swimming pool, an obstacle course and woodland for bushcraft activities.

What dates will camp be running in 2018?

In 2018 we will be running camps at Cherwell School in Oxford and Kingham School in Chipping Norton.

Cherwell School – 3-13 April

Kingham Hill School – 9-13 April

What are the hours of operation?

Camps are open Monday to Friday, between 08:00-18:00.

Activities run between 09:00 and 16:30, however, children can be dropped off from 08:00 and collected any time before 18:00, at no extra charge.

Please note: We close at 17:00 on the last day of camp.

We reserve the right to charge an additional fee of £10 per 30 minutes (or part thereof) should you collect your child after 18:00. If this seems likely, please call the Camp Emergency Contact on 07733 233 849.

What is included in the fees?

High quality childcare, an exciting range of activities and entertainment, daily pulse raiser session, daily swimming lesson, use of equipment and trips (including any transportation).

What activities are available?

Our extensive list of activities provides plenty of variety for your children to enjoy, including: sports, arts and crafts, bushcraft, drama sessions, dance, swimming and games.

Each day we offer a choice of different activities so the children have the opportunity to participate in their favourite ones, or try out something new. We encourage them to join group activities and to enjoy at least an hour of physical activity during their day.

How can I book?

Bookings can be made online here or by calling the office on 01869 352000.

Payment can be made via credit/debit card, childcare vouchers, BACS or cash.
All fees are payable in advance of the child’s attendance.

Voucher Payments

All voucher payments must have cleared with Camp Energy before the first day of camp, and please bring a copy of the voucher payment/code. If this is not possible, an alternative payment must be brought to camp on arrival.

What does my child need to bring to camp?

Please bring a packed lunch (nut-free), 2 snacks for break times and a refillable drinks bottle.

A swimming costume and towel will be needed for swim tuition (swim hat, armbands and goggles are optional).

What is the daily routine?

Camp Energy follows a structured timetable from 9:00am until 4:30pm.  During these times we offer a variety of sports, swim sessions, arts and crafts, games and activities.  There are also regular break times throughout the day and a designated lunch hour.
